Happiest place on earth? Not at Christmas time
So as I said I went to DL for Christmas day. Let me just tell you it was packed, I had no idea but I guess Christmas is one of their busiest days of the year. If I had to hazzard a guess there was probably 20,000 people.
It was interesting to see all these people, parents with kids, teenagers, crazy Canadians, and then the "happy" employees.
The parents were in a mode of "we're here and the kids are having fun and we have to be here".
The teenagers were being teenagers.
We met this group of four canadians who were down from Edmonton. And I have to say they were a lot of fun, we only talked to them for one line but that was for about 20-30 minutes. They were having fun and just enjoying DL. They were asking people what their favorite rides were.
And then there were the "happy" employees. You have never seen more grumpy people on Christmas then the employees at DL. Except for like 4 of them they just seemed miserable, the Canadians mentioned it to us too.
So everybody has to have a bad day now and then right? For the Happiest place on Earth it just happens to be Christmas.
